Tamika Williams is an Assistant District Attorney with the Orange County District Attorney’s Office (OCDA). She currently supervises the Mental Health/Recidivism Reduction Unit (MH/RRU). MH/RRU handles all matters related to competency to stand trial, post-conviction including Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity and Offenders with Mental Disorders, collaborative courts (Mental Health, Drug, DUI, Veterans’ Treatment and Young Adult), and Mental Health, Military and Developmentally Disabled Diversion. A prior math and science teacher and civil attorney, she has been a prosecutor since 2007 serving in a variety of areas including the Gang Reduction Intervention Partnership (G.R.I.P.) and Human Trafficking Units. She is also a founding board member of the OCDA Association for Inclusion, Equity and Diversity (AIDE).
